Specialty Sip: Celery Gimlet

Celery Gimlet


1 small celery rib, chopped, plus extra for garnish
1/4 oz simple syrup (1:1 parts sugar and water)
2 oz gin of your choice
3/4 oz fresh lime juice

How To:
Add celery and simple syrup to cocktail shaker and muddle until celery is broken down and juices are released.  Add lime juice and gin and fill shaker with ice. Shake until the outside of the shaker is frosty.
Strain into a chilled glass, garnish with additional celery.
